Anonymous ('Junior Grand Warden')

Public domain

A speech printed in 1729 by a Junior Grand Warden to a lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, dating from only the sixth year after Anderson's first Book of Constitutions. Very early printed Grand Lodge oratory of this kind survives in a handful of pamphlets, and this scan is from the British Library copy.
