De linearum nevorumque prognostico faciei humanae: Metoposcopy Codex (Manuscript, mid-17th century)

Caspar Magninus

Public domain

Seventeenth-century Latin and Italian manuscript on metoposcopy, predicting fortune from the lines and moles of the human face, with many rough pen-and-wash drawings of heads, eight of them full-page. Unique manuscript: a handwritten codex held in the Wellcome Library's Western Manuscripts collection, so no second copy of this particular text-witness exists. Digitized by the Wellcome Collection and released under its Public Domain Mark.
