Alchandrus (Alchandreana texts), anonymous English scribe

Twelfth-century Latin codex containing Alchandrus on the natures of the planets (the Alchandreana, among the first Arabic astrological treatises translated into Latin) with further astrological, divinatory and medical texts, cited in scholarship on Adelard of Bath. Unique manuscript: a handwritten codex held in the Wellcome Library's Western Manuscripts collection, so no second copy of this particular text-witness exists. Digitized by the Wellcome Collection and released under its Public Domain Mark.
