Johannes de Rupescissa (Jean de Roquetaillade)

Mid-fifteenth-century French manuscript of Rupescissa's alchemical Liber lucis, with three drawings of apparatus, followed by alchemical and medical receipts in French and Latin; it was formerly bound with two other Wellcome manuscripts. Unique manuscript: a handwritten codex held in the Wellcome Library's Western Manuscripts collection, so no second copy of this particular text-witness exists. Digitized by the Wellcome Collection and released under its Public Domain Mark.
