Late-fifteenth-century French manuscript of the anonymous alchemical-medical treatise 'Ymage de vie' on the elixir of the philosophers' great medicine, with miscellaneous alchemical receipts; the text has been studied by Genevieve Dumas. Unique manuscript: a handwritten codex held in the Wellcome Library's Western Manuscripts collection, so no second copy of this particular text-witness exists.
