Mid-fifteenth-century Latin collection beginning with John of Rupescissa's Liber de consideratione quintae essentiae, with other short alchemical works, extracts and notes and a full table of contents; later owned by the archaeologist Simon Ballerino. Unique manuscript: a handwritten codex held in the Wellcome Library's Western Manuscripts collection, so no second copy of this particular text-witness exists. Digitized by the Wellcome Collection and released under its Public Domain Mark.
