Original seventeenth-century list endorsed 'Names of the witches. 1658', written by several hands and accompanied by a later transcript; formerly in the library of Sir Thomas Dawson Brodie. Unique manuscript: a handwritten codex held in the Wellcome Library's Western Manuscripts collection, so no second copy of this particular text-witness exists (the original is a single handwritten document). Digitized by the Wellcome Collection and released under its Public Domain Mark.
