The Daily Rite · Sunday 25 October

Keep the rite

Each day Xher sets one short coding challenge and one reading. Keep either and the day is kept; keep both for the double office. A new rite begins at midnight UTC.

The rule of the rite

  • Keep the coding rite by passing today's challenge in any of the five languages, or the reading rite by reading for fifteen minutes. Either one keeps the day.
  • Each kept rite pays a bonus once a day: 50 XP for the coding rite, 25 XP for the reading rite, on top of what the lesson or the reading already earns.
  • Days in a row build your rite streak. Sigils wait at your first rite, at seven days and thirty, and for keeping both rites in one day.
  • The Hall of Adepts ranks members by the days they have kept this week, Monday to Sunday.
